After 9 months, Planet Her's vinyls have finally shipped and the numbers came in at an underwhelming 16.5k sales

You all said shes the new rihanna but she can't sell albums ijbol. Billie and Olivia from the current gen are selling physicals like hot cakes so that's not an excuse

Compared to what some of her peers did it's still pretty much nothing. You had Billie's team post about HTE's vinyl variants every single day on her twt account & Olivia went as far as doing a whole unboxing video posted on her IG, Twitter, etc, etc.  Promo-wise they absolutely dropped the ball and most casual fans probably weren't even aware of this.

Planet Her is not the type of album that people would listen to on vinyl. Hot Pink maybe, but Planet Her is not a vinyl album. That’s a streaming or CD album.

Meh, she isn't the artist to sell pures, vinyls especially (and vinyl-sellers are even higher than just being able to sell pures)

she may become one, one day

 

but at these days, there arent many new artists who can sell vinyls as smashingly as Harry and Taylor
