I'm surprised by the extremely positive reactions.  I was really looking forward to this, but the first two eps were incredibly boring.  The opening in the brothel and then Cassian killing the two guards was great (and very dark for a Disney project) but then... nothing happened.  I'm all for a character driven slow burn, but the plot needs to move forward too.

And I can't believe we have to deal with boring ass flashbacks again.  This is already a prequel.  We don't need flashbacks.

Hopefully it picks up soon.

Same tbh. The pilot felt very slow for me and is my least favorite pilot of any Disney+ Star Wars show. The second episode got me a bit more invested in the plot but overall it was still boring.

I'm still going to watch the third episode and give it another chance but at the moment I don't understand the hype behind the show.

I will say though that the set design and cinematography are absolutely beautiful.

This is pretty easily the highest quality Disney+ show so far.  Acting, writing, characters all A+

Looks better than every other start wars show!

This is so boring. The show creator has completely misunderstood what makes Star Wars and a gritty relationship drama is not it. It has been nothing but talking for 5 episodes with some lackluster shootout in the middle. This is horrible and I am positive the viewership will crater. Star Wars is supposed to be entertaining. But yeah, I guess great cinematography, beautiful cinematography.

I really loved this episode. It's a slow burn but I love the character development and the tense dialogues. Everything is definitely building up to an action packed episode next week. I have a feeling some of the rebels won't make it out next week hence why some got important character developments in this episode. I am enjoying the multiple storylines happening concurrently. Hopefully they will show more of Mon Mothma. I am ready to see more of the imperial senate stuff.

Holy crap, this was an incredible episode. I couldn't breathe until the end. The whole episode was perfectly tense! The Eye was visually gorgeous. It puts the whole CGI in Obi Wan to shame lol.

Omg episode 6, I am speechless.

Such a thrilling episode from front to back. One of the best hours of Star Wars content ever, it was THAT good :jonny3:

Yeah, that was amazing! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and didn't want it to end. People say the two prior episodes were 'filler', but they were the perfect leadup to that.

This is quite literally the best Star Wars show disney/lucasfilm have put out thus far.

Episode 4: absolutely amazing wow

Episode 5: filler episode and the relationships building didn’t pay off in episode 6

Episode 6: fantastic episode. You can never go wrong with a heist.

this show has really surprised me in the best ways.

I fell asleep when watching the first 3 episodes, but more from it being late at the time. But never went back. Think I'll revisit the series now.

This is far and away the best thing to make its way to Disney+ so far.  Amazing storytelling, character development, world building, cinematography, ect..  I feel bad for the people who think its boring, not enough Pew Pew, Pow Pow for their short attention spans

Another great episode! I really loved the political intrigue and tension in this episode. Mon Mothma really shined in this episode. Her husband is so suspicious.

Palpatine was named dropped a lot in this episode. It makes me wonder if he's going to appear in an episode soon. If they could get Ian for Kenobi, then they could get him for this show.

The new planet was cool! It was giving 80s Miami beach vibe lol

This makes every single Star Wars thing Disney has put out before it look mediocre. Totally changed my tune from before.

Why is no one talking about this show??

This was another great episode. All of the puzzle pieces are starting to come together. This arc (ep 8-10) will be fun to watch. But jeez those imperial prisons are brutal. Andor seemed so in disbelief when he got there.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Andy Serkis! For those who needs a reminder, he did the motion capture performance for Snoke in the ST.

I love Mon Mothma so much in this show, it makes me want a whole political thriller show staring her trying to navigate the senate without exposing herself. (Though maybe this show is using her sparingly enough for me to enjoy seeing her and not enough I get bored)

Other highlight character for me is blonde imperial lady. Clearly not enough for me to remember her name, but I absolutely love her voice. She has the absolute perfect Imperial accent. I'm surprised she doesn't seem to have been in anything else I've seen because I feel like I know her voice.

Really, really good show and the perfect side to Rogue One - though I didn't really enjoy the prison scenes this week tbh, just wanted him to hurry up and break out already :skull:

This episode was really tense. The build up to a prison break out is pretty cool to see. Next week should be very action packed!

I was gagged when they revealed Vel to be Mon's cousin. I wasn't expecting that. I think it does a good job of showing how much is at stakes for Mon.

just finished ep8. I have to say this is the best/my favourite star wars tv show/film :jonnycat: truly shocked at how good it is so far.

Incredible show, probably my favorite Star Wars content of all time.

Season 2 begins filming on November 21.

Damn, that was an intense episode. I feel so bad for Kino. I hope we will see him again. I can't believe there are two episodes left!

It's astonshing how good this show is, especially after the messes that The Book of Boba Fett and Kenobi were. This level of writing is something I have never thought I would see in Star Wars. All around excellent acting, meaningful dialogues, strong three-dimensional characters, beautiful set pieces and simply a good story that doesn't rely on any fan service and actually takes itself seriously.

Andy Serkis' and Stellan Skarsgård's monologues from last episode were breathtaking. This is not only peak Star Wars, this is peak television.

This has far surpassed the Mandalorian as the best SW TV show.  Quality every week.
