There's no way to remove +400 million guns from the streets, there'll never be a solid public healthcare system that can take mental health patients seriously. I had a person from high school (I'm from a red state) who argued with me that he needs guns to feed his family as if he doesn't go grocery shopping at Kroger. There's no rationale with these people. If something is passed and signed into law by Congress, it becomes significantly more challenging to overturn through the courts. That’s government 101, Congress has more authority for lawmaking than the president.
