Marvel turned a D list character at best, really popular. Most people had no idea who she was before the avengers movies. Storm, rogue, OR Jean should all be in her place because they are A list. I swear if marvel fucks up the xmen reboot i will go crazy.

her Character was Defined By the stages of grief:rip: Pietro in Age of Ultron and Joining the Avengers by overcoming her inability to fully realize her power. it's what makes her a Strong and adored character. Finding love from the very Mind stone that created Vision is great writing. The metaphorical aspects of being in a relationship with a Synthizoid adds layers to her. Losing vision twice, Her children, Her Brother and her parents because of Tony Stark all add to her journey. Literally from her introduction her character development is defined by Grief, Loss, and not understanding her power or role. Hawkeye's Speech is what gave her the confidence to Avenge. Hence why she is an Avenger:coffee2: This is all before Wandavision's character study on her Sitcom coping Mechanisms. witch is relatable to people who have lost loved ones.  She is a girl boss that gives inspiration to fans who have also lost loved ones and are just trying to make it through day by day. Black widow didn't have character development until literally Endgame. ironman 2 until infinity war nobody cared. lets be honest. we just liked her in action, since she didn't get an solo movie until it was too late. that's what makes the big difference. just stating facts.

thanks for the explanation

i haven't seen wandavision (not my type of show) but what i've seen of her story in the movies didn't really impress me outside of her age of ultron scenes with hawkeye but that might be because i'm generally just not into super strong characters like her

Why is a Bucky avi user making this thread :deadbanana2:

But to answer your question, obviously not. she's an organic success story and the MoM box office numbers prove it. y'all just like tearing down successful woman with ambitions :cm:

organic pls

she's been the most pushed female character since her first appearance :biblio:

If anyone is overrated it’s miss Carol Danvers.

Absolutely not and that’s easily proven with the lack of merch she had UNTIL Wandavision came out :biblio:  Like another user said, we were able to slowly watch her grow and feel that connection with her. She wasn’t just thrown at us like Natasha or Carol

B*tch you better be joking. Put some f*cking respect on her name

Correct me I’m wrong but she was underrated until Infinity war while Black widow was fan favorite, captain marvel was promoted as the next big thing and strongest avenger which is not because Wanda cleared the other one. Her success is organic. :wanda:

It's rare to even have popular female characters  :rip: Who are we comparing this to?
