Cutthroat Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 I don’t understand what’s so bad about the CGI? It looked fine to me… Movie looks like a lot of fun! Thor has been one of my favourite MCU characters since his debut and I’ll definitely be seeing this in the cinema. Chris Hemsworth is so perfect for the role.

Same! his long hair IMO makes him look soooo ugly. They should go back to his Ragnarok look. He looked extremely hot in that movie & Infinity War. OT: The trailer looks ok. It didn't really make me super excited for the movie & honestly Gorr doesn't look scary enough to me. He just looks like Christian Bale with some make up on. Also doesn't help that the way he talks/speaks makes him instantly recognizable. Idk if that makes any sense, but I guess he has some form of speech impediment. Like the way he moves his mouth when he talks. Just pay attention & you'll notice it. But yea, I'm not excited for him as a bad guy. I wasn't a huge fan of Thor, up until Ragnarok. That movie was great IMO. But the previous movies seemed so boring. I need to give them another watch. But the people complaining about the CGI I swear are so annoying lol. I swear they complain about the dumbest things. I thinnk when everything went to HD & 4k etc it ruined the cgi for most people lol. There is only so much you can do to make it look real & now that we have super crystal clear screens it's harder to make it look even more real. But anyway, we shall see how this movie goes. Idk how I feel about Jane being Thor. Like how did she get her powers & etc? I'm not really up to date with the comics TBH. So idk much about the lore behind how she becomes a version of Thor. I'm hoping this movie is good. & that they don't fumble the bag like they did with some other movies. I still think Doctor Strange was a good movie, but it definitely could have been way better & didn't really live up to the huge hype it had behind it when it comes to the whole Multiverse situation. They could have handled it better or just called the movie something different because honestly after watching the movie for like a 4th time, it sort of feels like the whole Multiverse thing was an after thought & like they just added it as a way to move the plot forward in terms of making Queen Wanda the bad guy.

Arcadius Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 I'm surprised this movie isn't making more noise. Wanda had the girls shouting and hollering the week of MOM release.

Gorjesspazze9 Posted July 2, 2022 Author Posted July 2, 2022 I don’t think there is much excitement for this other then the fact it’s Thor. And everyone knows it’s gonna be a comedy. I’m expecting a fun popcorn blockbuster. This will probably end up the same as Ragnorok. Tone wise and box office wise.

Hector Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 The movie was good & fun, I enjoyed it. Christian Bale was very creepy as Gorr and Russell Crowe was ridiculous as Zeus. Spoiler RIP Jane The last ending credit scene though was cute.
