The critically acclaimed 13-time Emmy Award winning short-form animated anthology series is available on Netflix.

Quote

The animated series consists of stand-alone episodes, all under 20 minutes long, and produced by different casts and crews, though some episodes may share certain crew members. The series title refers to each episode's thematic connection to the three aforementioned subjects, though not every episode contains all three elements.

Vol 1 - 18 episodes

Vol 2 - 8 episodes

Vol 3 - 9 episodes

Great season, Jibaro was a masterpiece of a closer :clap3:

How I would rank the episodes:

01 Jibaro

02 Mason's Rats

03 Night Of The Minidead

04 3 Robots

05 Very Pulse Of The Machine

06 Swarm

07 Kill Team Kill

08 Bad Traveling

09 In Vaulted Halls Entombed

I’m worried they will cancel it and we will have no more considering season 2 and 3 are basically one season cut in half

Jibaro was amazing and my jaw dropped at the animation. Unreal.

Better than Season 2 but still too short.

Jibaro was one of the most beautiful, captivating and sobering pieces of art I’ve ever watched.

A masterpiece. :clap3:

Great season! Love the rat war episode and the hybrid bear one too. Swarm was probably the one I disliked the most only because the ending was open to interpretation  :ducky:

Bad travelling is the best one!

David Fincher did that with the second episode

I liked Bad Traveling, Night Of The Minidead and 3 Robots

the rest can GO

The second episode was  kinda really dumb? That thing was trapped in the ship anyway. Why didn't they just set it on fire to begin with and then leave all together in the life boat? :rip:

Swarm was definitely the low-point. Felt like retread territory and that ending sucked..

I think Season 1 was so good because of the novelty factor, because none of the eps in the seasons that followed have been as good for me (the giant ***** ep in s2 though, :eli: ).

Jibaro served great gowns beautiful gowns, it was pretty to look at, but not much else, Three Robots didn't even try to be subtle :rip:

Spoiler

I thought Swarm was the most thought provoking one, especially when you realise that the doctor was already being controlled by the Swarm when she let in the guy. The war for humans was already lost at that point and when the other humans arrive they would be let in and then be used to manufacture more humans who would be trained to wipe out humanity. And then the Swarm would go back to business as usual.

I would like a follow up actually, see how that plays out especially since the guy seemed so determined to not let that happen. Doesn't it raise important questions about our place in the universe and exploitation?

:toofunny2:True! But I guess it's too far from any island, he did it when he was close to the island and could survive on the life boat.

I don't like how this show is telling the same story over and over and over again. It's always the same combo: some people (usually military men and women) fighting against a monster of some kind. And that's it.

We get it, humans are dumb and powerless in the grand scheme of things. It's tired.

the episode with the zombies made me laugh a lot :ahh: that was hilarious.

Just finished season 1 and Good Hunting was by far my favorite.

I really liked season 3, it held my attention and kept me more hooked than season 1, didn't even finish season 2. My favorite ep is The Very Pulse of The Machine. it's one of the least rated but it really spoke to me with the passage and the trippy art. I really liked the part where the machine was listing off it's ingredients and it was so melodic.

I was the most excited about Jibaro since watching the trailer and it was really good. I liked the art style and the how the water being danced it was all so good. I also liked the fashion with the armor and the priest gowns and headdress. And the deaf knight was so hot. His facial tattoos and piercings were so cool and intricate I couldn't stop looking at him, which is a feat considering there's a gold and glitter studded water being right there. I kinda wish when he was running around he would've have just taken off his armor. It looked like it was weighing him down and i'm like take it off. He could have been in hostile territory which he probably was considering the time period but I wanted to see his outfit underneath. I also didn't like the night scenes when it panned to the water being around the water, it looked cheap and misplaced. I felt could been animated better without the home video quality.

I love animations, so as always this has been so entertaining. Jibaro was the most interesting, really loved the vibes about it. On the second place I must say Bad Travelling.

Overall great season and I'm looking forward for next season, if there will be any(I heard that netflix fired a lot of animators:cries:)

It was a meh season for me. Better than season 2, but once again seems like they highs of season 1 where too much for the new episodes to compare to.

You’ll love it! I love all the different animation styles used by the different studios and the wacky stories.
