The Black Keys Lo/Hi reached #1 spin-wise (I don't think by audience though) in all three of the main Rock sub-formats -- Active/Mainstream, Alternative, and AAA. Green Day's Boulevard Of Broken Dreams did so, and even four with the now defunct "Heritage Rock" format. I think the Foo Fighters have done the same, but topping all of the Rock genres is exceedingly rare.

Yes, but the only band I listen to from that group is Slipknot. Metallica, Megadeth, A7X, Judas Priest, Ghost, Iron Maiden, Pantera and Slayer are my faves :heart2:

Does anyone listen to these guys?

I feel like I've seen them posted in here before. I'm so confused. First time I checked them out they were this Tame Impala-esque psychedelic rock group, I even remember them being compared to each other, but this sounds like Motorhead meets early Metallica or something :skull: I really like it, but when and why did they change?

about to listen to Coldplay, but their Ghost Stories album rather than any earlier stuff, so I guess I shouldn't be posting this here since their newest music isn't really rock, but oh well

I used to be 1/4 of a Muse fan from 2006 to 2012 and a bit of a Blur fan back in 2006. Not caught up with Muse's later material though.

Indeed, it's excellent but a bit overrated imo. My favorite album is Achtung Baby. But if you want an accessible, replayable U2 album, listen to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. The opening of Vertigo-Miracle Drug-Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own is one of the best introductions to an album EVER. And the rest of the album is just based on standard modern rock production and great songwriting/melodies with replay value. Every track is good. Such an underrated album from their discography.

I've never really liked Muse tbh. I think it's just their style and the fact that they sometimes feel like a Radiohead and Queen tribute band. Origin of Symmetry is excellent, but I never really listen to them anymore. I've always preferred Coldplay. I discovered Blur's discography last year and pretty much love it! What's your favorite Blur album?
