I just finished it. I mean once you get past the fact that they’re only calling it Resident Evil by name because it has zombies and they’re using the name Umbrella Corporation, and has literally nothing to do with the lore, it was actually pretty entertaining. I enjoyed it for what it was. I’d watch a second season.

:bibliahh: we didn't want that representation left wing filled agenda mess anyway

Well deserved. They should make their film/shows attempts be clones of the videogames and let their "visions" fly away.

Idk why Hollywood is so insistent on adapting RE with so many unnecessary bells and whistles :deadbanana2:like is it that hard to do a simple 1 to 1???

Just cast whoever in the roles, but keep the plot the same nnnn :psyduck: like I couldn't finish this cause they made it so convoluted.

Heard it was trash anyway. Netflix should delete those random 1 season shows with cliffhangers. Nobody cares and the whole catalogue looks a mess.

If a chef is given of a cake recipe but ignores half the ingredients and substitutes for the rest with dirt no one in the kitchen should be suprised when it results in an inedible mess.

So why do these studios act shocked when their adaptations that ignore or butcher 90% of the source material fail to duplicate its success??

they want the name recognition of the source material but they pander to a completely different demographic, alienating the original fanbase. it's kind of a lose-lose situation.

it happened to the female Ghostbusters movie. and here it is happening again.

plus, notice how they always tease Ada at the end of the movie and this series, but she doesn't show up because the project gets canceled.

they always treat her that way! :deadbanana4:

Right, they should listen to the fans like they did when we begged for RE2R.

Look at how successful that was. We KNOW what we want.
