Now you better put some respect on this classic.

It's cute. not tier 1 but it's cute.

I think even Mariah has some questionable #1s so it's not like every single #1 on that list is a quality classic

Not with a Rihanna avi you won't

S&M remix, Work work work work work work and The monster weren't exactly tier 1 songs either

and I love me some Rihanna and Drake

It's just the sign of the times:michael:

:rip: nnnnn drag me. the S&M remix was a chart tactic I'll give you that, but Work was a BOP and a smash hit

I'm not really talking about quality or liking the songs though, just legitimacy. I love Drake too, but my point is that his last four #1s just reached the top because of an album bomb effect or frontloaded hype and then tend to drop off. It just feels weird that he's about to surpass Whitney as if What's Next is comparable to How Will I Know

Drake went from 5 straight 8+week #1s (One Dance, Work, God's Plan, Nice For What, In My Feelings) to 4 single-week #1-OUT songs (Toosie Slide, What's Next, Way 2 Sexy, Wait For U) :deadbanana2: talk about consistency (or lack there off) I guess

Of course this song could still have legs but I think it's a fair assumption

Yeah basically this :dies:

Not the OP literally erasing Future for "rapper" in the title :deadvision: Just because you don't listen to rap doesn't mean Future's not a superstar :dies:

Some Future's songs debuted higher than expected so probably Levitating went recurrent.

Wow Future did that. Drake finally got his 10th number #1. I’m so happy for Teams, she’s very talented and deserved this number #1.

's "Levitating" departs the Hot 100 this week. It peaked at #2, becoming the #1 biggest hit of 2021 and is the longest charting single by a female artist of all time (77 weeks).

Ngl, I'm happy it left, so tired of it.

I'm a bit sad but yeah it needed to die already.

i never expected it to become the smash it did but it was certainly fun watching its chart run and the multiple winds and the performances and promo and da baby controversy and payola allegations and that one-week last year it was supposed to go number one but billboard changed the rules last minute to sabotage her.

its been quite the journey!:sosad:
