ALA Posted May 7, 2022 Author Posted May 7, 2022 Someone will probably make an edit of Wanda going "I would never hurt everyone" with all her kills here

But using the mother excuse to make her a villain just felt a bit empty to me. Like most villains we didn’t learn enough about her motivations, which is an issue because she was already a fully fleshed character. And being possessed is not an excuse. The WandaVision post credit scene kind of let us know that her main motivation was to use the Darkhold to find her kids…the only thing is we don’t know how much time has past between the end of NWH and the start of this film
azii Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 The problem is that they adapted House of M before the Avengers Disassembled storyline. In the comics it made sense for her to create a fake reality after having her meltdown and killing the avengers.

They were also just probably testing reactions to John Krasinski, since they could cast him as the main Reed Richards.

Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I hope we get new actors to play Billy and Tommy. I don’t wanna wait 5 years for them. Especially since they aren’t really good child actors tbh.

There is a lack of teams rn. They already introduced members of both Young Avengers and Thunderbolts (with Valentina recruiting them) but they are taking their time to form them. Just imagine an MCU with Young Avengers, Midnight Suns, Thunderbolts, Illuminati and X-Men...just WOW. The possibilities.

NWH took place in the fall and Christmas of 2024. DS 2 obviously took place a few months afterward based on the weather so probably early summer 2025. So at least two years have passed between WV and DS 2. That's quite a lengthy period of time for her to be corrupted by the Darkhold as well as expanding her power.
Jotham Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I was shook at the way Scarlet Witch straight up massacred the Illuminati. Mortal Kombat teas
Ms. Togekiss Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 ngl my d**k twitched when John Krasinski appeared especially when he started stretching his elastic limbs all I could think of what his d**k stretching and elongating

Mr. Peanutbutter Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 The way the theater had a reaction to each Illuminati but Blackbolt lmao. Just found out it's the same actor who played him on Inhumans. The fact this show flopped so hard nobody is even aware of it. He could still obliterate me with his (what) mouth tho
dynasty Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 the music note scene…. tragic so cringey the skeleton dr strange moment with america chavez at the end did not work either, people were laughing (unless it was meant to be funny) christine fighting off the ghosts was so funny too all the parts i didn’t like were towards the end of the movie, were there reshoots or something

Cheers Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 I’m sorry but this was so cheesy The dialogue was TERRIBLE the scene where he was fighting the other universe Strange using musical notes.. wtf was that Zombie Strange’s wonky ass wink to America When Christine said “go to hell” felt like a low rated horror movie scene. The line delivery was so bad I’m sorry but Wanda’s acting was severely overrated. I case in comparison to everyone else she shined. My theater was cackling when she was in other Wanda’s home acting a cracked out mess I thought I bought a ticket to see THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS not LA LLORONA
Guest Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 This was a really bad sequel to the first Strange movie. Honestly, the main villain shoould have been that one evil dr Strange, this movie tries hard to tell us how dangerous the dr. can be, but it never feels that way. The illuminati took care of their one easily and the evil strange is just there, not doing anything, until the main one shows up. Also, the way Wanda acts DUMB and we just have to pretend OMG IT'S THE DARKHOLD, like she could just control America with her powers and then just let her go, that one line "OMG but I need that power to find a cure in case my kids get sick" She does ******* magic, why would she need another universe when she can basically re-write reality? Overall, for me, this is just another Age of Ultron, there are some nice scenes, but overall the movie is a big meh.
WildAmerican Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 I feel like so many Wanda lines are already iconic: "Why don't you bring America here..... You never told me her name, did you?" "doesn't every mother?" "It will not be Wanda who comes for her next time, it will be the Scarlet Witch" "What mouth?" camp classiques i fear

This man been waiting for a big screen moment like this ages and Wanda ended it in 10 seconds.

publikcitizen Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 It makes me laugh knowing that Wanda knows Monica and she killed a variant of her mom in another universe
