Someone will probably make an edit of Wanda going "I would never hurt everyone" with all her kills here :rip:

loved watching Wanda but did anyone else feel a bit dissatisfied? they took so many years to carefully build her arc and Wandavision let us into her psyche. But using the mother excuse to make her a villain just felt a bit empty to me. Like most villains we didn’t learn enough about her motivations, which is an issue because she was already a fully fleshed character. And being possessed is not an excuse.

The WandaVision post credit scene kind of let us know that her main motivation was to use the Darkhold to find her kids…the only thing is we don’t know how much time has past between the end of NWH and the start of this film

The problem is that they adapted House of M before the Avengers Disassembled storyline. In the comics it made sense for her to create a fake reality after having her meltdown and killing the avengers.

the illuminati is dead in that spefic universe, right? or is that the definitive illuminati all throughout the multiverse?

sucks if they are forever dead nnn

yep, that was just one specific universe. for all we know there could be an illuminati in the main MCU. They were also just probably testing reactions to John Krasinski, since they could cast him as the main Reed Richards.

they just did it backwards. they'll probably do Children's Crusade for Wanda next.

I hope we get new actors to play Billy and Tommy. I don’t wanna wait 5 years for them. Especially since they aren’t really good child actors tbh.

I think that in the next movie our Strange will create the MCU illuminati. There is a lack of teams rn. They already introduced members of both Young Avengers and Thunderbolts (with Valentina recruiting them) but they are taking their time to form them.

Just imagine an MCU with Young Avengers, Midnight Suns, Thunderbolts, Illuminati and X-Men...just WOW. The possibilities.

Considering WandaVision was a few weeks after Endgame, so around late spring 2023. NWH took place in the fall and Christmas of 2024. DS 2 obviously took place a few months afterward based on the weather so probably early summer 2025. So at least two years have passed between WV and DS 2. That's quite a lengthy period of time for her to be corrupted by the Darkhold as well as expanding her power.

I was shook at the way Scarlet Witch straight up massacred the Illuminati. Mortal Kombat teas

How would you think that way when the moment he stretches Wanda shreds him to noodles and pops his head off.

The way the theater had a reaction to each Illuminati but Blackbolt lmao.

Just found out it's the same actor who played him on Inhumans. The fact this show flopped so hard nobody is even aware of it. :rip:

He could still obliterate me with his (what) mouth tho :WAP:

the music note scene…. tragic :rip: so cringey

the skeleton dr strange moment with america chavez at the end did not work either, people were laughing (unless it was meant to be funny) :rip:

christine fighting off the ghosts was so funny too :rip:

all the parts i didn’t like were towards the end of the movie, were there reshoots or something

Everything that you just described is the director's (Sam Raimi) signature style :dies:

He's known to do scenes that are borderline horror, silly, or absurd to where you're unsure whether to laugh or take serious, for better or worse.

I’m sorry but this was so cheesy :rip:  The dialogue was TERRIBLE :rip:

the scene where he was fighting the other universe Strange using musical notes.. wtf was that :rip:

Zombie Strange’s wonky ass wink to America :deadbanana:

When Christine said “go to hell” felt like a low rated horror movie scene. The line delivery was so bad :ahh: :ahh:

I’m sorry but Wanda’s acting was severely overrated. I case in comparison to everyone else she shined. My theater was cackling when she was in other Wanda’s home acting a cracked out mess :ahh:

I thought I bought a ticket to see THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS not LA LLORONA :rip:

This was a really bad sequel to the first Strange movie. Honestly, the main villain shoould have been that one evil dr Strange, this movie tries hard to tell us how dangerous the dr. can be, but it never feels that way. The illuminati took care of their one easily and the evil strange is just there, not doing anything, until the main one shows up. Also, the way Wanda acts DUMB and we just have to pretend OMG IT'S THE DARKHOLD, like she could just control America with her powers and then just let her go, that one line "OMG but I need that power to find a cure in case my kids get sick" :rip: She does ******* magic, why would she need another universe when she can basically re-write reality? :deadbanana4:

Overall, for me, this is just another Age of Ultron, there are some nice scenes, but overall the movie is a big meh.

I feel like so many Wanda lines are already iconic:

"Why don't you bring America here..... You never told me her name, did you?"

"doesn't every mother?"

"It will not be Wanda who comes for her next time, it will be the Scarlet Witch"

"What mouth?"

:jonnycat: camp classiques i fear

It also didn't occur to me until after the film he plays Britney's love interest in Crossroads. This man been waiting for a big screen moment like this ages and Wanda ended it in 10 seconds. :deadbanana2:

It makes me laugh knowing that Wanda knows Monica and she killed a variant of her mom in another universe :wanda:
