BNF91 Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 (edited) Next weekend should hopefully be between $28-32M. Edited May 17, 2022 by BNF91
BNF91 Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Approx $4.7M Monday. -64% week to week. Was hoping for at least $5M. Difference is this week should see a Tuesday increase to start closing the gap. Hopefully.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness Hits $703 Million as of This morning. It will surpass the highest grossing movie of the year before the 3rd weekend ends?
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 As of May 18, 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has grossed $302.7 million in the United States and Canada and $413.1 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $715.8 million. On track to become the highest grossing film of 2022 by the end of the 3rd weekend. The Batman at $768M for its entire theatrical release is the top selling movie of the year so far.
Donquizote Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Will this even cross 900 million when all is said and done?
Monster Megamind Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Really thought this would touch 1B..... At least it should out gross Batman
Sweetestsecret Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 After the box office numbers of 'no way home' the expectations are high..but this movie is already a hit ..
Eóghan Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 It's an underperformance let's be real; considering all the hype and the DS set up in No Way Home and all the multiverse stuff on Disney+ Y'all can't blame covid anymore.
Donquizote Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Calling this an underperformance me thinks. With all the hype from Marvel for months leading up to movie release, I would expect this movie to touch 1 billion
BNF91 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Finally some decent holds (relatively) Friday looking at $8.5M, -50% week to week. Stopping some of the bleeding. Should get $29-31M this weekend.

I feel it would have done better if Sam Raimi wasn’t so terrible, but it’s still smashing.

ALA Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) The numbers itself is good but struggling to get to a billion after its opening Edited May 21, 2022 by ALA
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 (edited) Multiverse of Madness is Marvel Studios most successful film in the last 2 years and y’all are calling it a flop excluding Spider-Man which is literally a Avengers level Pop culture Event. Nobody was expecting Docter Strange to do NWH numbers? it’s already a hit and the biggest Marvel film in phase 4 by a lot, and about to be the biggest film of the year. So it’s kinda weird to call the biggest movie Marvel has put out in years as an underperformance. How can it underperform, if it’s surpassed it’s previous film and every other MCU film in phase 4? Maybe if this was an actual avengers title Movie but Are we really gonna start expecting every film to be 1.5 Billion as the Standard?? it’s a smash hit, accept it.. AMX Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 If the movie wasn’t a disappointment the hold would’ve been better.
