I think this concludes my opinion 

GS def, it was a viral phenomenon, it was atrocious though. Dynamite isn't good either though.

Did this really need a thread? Isn’t it quite apparent that Gangnam Style is the only right answer?! That song was everywhere and actually known outside of stan culture.

I only ever heard dynamite in YouTube ads. Gangnam style was more then just a viral hit. It had college stadiums and school assemblies across the world doing the horse dance 

Even Gentleman is more known than that fan driven song.

I don't know Dynamite so my vote automatically goes to Gangnam Style which is probably the most famous song of last decade

ATRL letting their hate for an artist blind them once again  Dynamite is not anywhere near as fan driven as any of their their other songs so people need to stop trying it

There's receipts of individual fans buying copies well into the tens of thousands. You're right that it wasn't as fan driven though because it and Butter also got a hefty push from Columbia. So it got two types of chart manipulation and still didn't surpass Psy's meme song in the US.

Gangnam Style was an actual global phenomenon, not a "hit" forced by fans.
