This was so cute and so much better than the trailer suggested. The movie also was shot pretty well! Nice to see a gay film with a budget  honestly deserved a theatrical release tbh.

This was such a good rom-com  very proud of Joel, he did a great jon with the script and acting. Bowen was great too. 

 

I agree that it deserved a theatrical release. Especially during pride, it could've been a lowkey hit since the word of mouth is great

Aw just finished watching it with my flatmate and it was really cute and funny. I really liked it and it felt like the lives of most gay people I know.

hopefully simu gets interest as a sex symbol, but as of right now shang chi is his breakout where he had no love interest and some would argue just fits in with the image last century of the martial arts asian.

barbie and one true loves could help if they are successful though.

 

 

i think the fear is that it took a long time in between mainstream gaysian-centered american films that it will take awhile for another. but perhaps if this is successful it won't be so long. the last one i know of is Saving Face, from 2004.
