The poster is basic, and they do seem to notice the backlash from casting Naomi out of all people... but I want to trust the script writers and directors. What she may lack in resemblance she can make up in candor and convincing story telling.

I'm sorry but Naomi was a terrible choice for Whitney. They should have done a top-notch documentary a la Amy instead because the casting for these biopics are almost always a miss.

 

Also, these biopics are starting feel like award bait for actors rather than honoring someone's life. Marylin Monroe, Whitney, Amy Winehouse, Elvis, etc. All award bait for the actors and cash grabs for the studios to continue to profit and exploit the dead. Shameful.

She was absolutely GORGEOUS and sung her lungs off. They needed a better lookalike and someone singing her songs as well as her. Or else... this goes nowhere as seen

I watched this yesterday. It was serving 2 hour MADTV skit.

The really hammered home the “Nippy is gay” storyline from the very beginning.

 

Also, the screams I let out when she was filming The Bodyguard and they used actual footage of Kevin Costner in the pool house.

 

And when she rocks up at Clive’s hotel room and asks if he’s “got any”. (Demos, not drugs) 

 

 

An actual mess. The final scene was done dirty. If they really wanted to push home just how iconic her AMA performance is/was, they should have cut to the original performance instead of having Naomi recreate it.
