Oh God, Santa Maria, whoever I need to pray to…let this be good or at least decent. Daddy Tucci and Tamara Tunie do give me hope. But, I’m nervous  

 

the director has some good credits. The CJ Walker biopic and Harriett movie. So there’s that.

btw, every film written by the screenwriter has been an Oscar contender and 3 of 4 of the respective leading actors got the award (Redmayne, Oldman and Malek):

 

- The Theory of Everything (5 noms including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay, 1 win)

- Darkest Hour (6 noms including Best Picture, 2 wins)

- Bohemian Rhapsody (5 noms including Best Picture, 4 wins)

- The Two Popes (3 noms including Best Adapted Screenplay)

 

He has a good track record with the AMPAS!
