poll 30 vs Lemonade: Better Album ?

Lemonade is better, but I don’t really care for either.

It's not just great music, there's sooooo much to discuss about it from the story, the statements, the significance of the samples, the visual album, the promotional campaign/societal litmus test Beyoncé allowed herself to be, the use of genre, etc. etc. etc.

Lemonade is better than every Adele album including 21. (although RITD/SFTTR are kinda better than Lem's highs).

Lemonade is objectively better (conceptually, thematically, sonically & production-wise). That said, there’s a reason it’s her least recurrent studio album and the only one in her discography that I, personally, don’t actively listen too compared to others. 

 

 

”30” is a good album too, I also think it’s Adele’s most ambitious even if it didn’t land all the way there.

30 is a fantastic underrated album where she finally channelled the jazzy sound she excels in which has been sorely lacking since 19. Flop or not I love her for making the album she did.
