Old Rhaneyra is not giving, I'm sorry to the actress but she cannot pull off that targ fierce face. Also, Rhaenys would have looked so much better with her original black hair, it could even be a hint on how dark haired targs never get to rule for some reason.

interesting, it’s the opposite to me. I think Emma D’Arcy is a perfect Targ woman. Their facial expression has that fierce but also insecure but also kinda “don’t-know-what-to-expect-from” look. I really liked their face @ the dagger scene when Alicent attacks

She's more like Cersei than Daenerys, at least in the books. There's obviously paralles between her and Dany, but their personalities aren't even that similar. There's no  crazy "arc" in her story, she's just ruthless.

That's my main problem, I've always seen Rhaenyra as someone who inspires fear, at least by the way they describe her in the books, so I pictured someone completely different, I hope the actress proves me wrong tho.

I'm a bit disappointed Rhaenys isn't dark-haired but assuming they're going to show both Laenor's parents have Valyrian hair for... reasons and didn't want to confuse it with Rhaenys's Baratheon hair
