Camila Cabello's third album 'Familia' debuted in the top 10 of US and UK charts without vynils and has received universal critical acclaim.

 

ATRL has been convincing me that Camila is so unknown that her third album would completely bomb and would be panned. 

 

Why did ATRL lose?

It got a 76 on Metacritic. How is that universal critical acclaim?

 

A 76 on Metacritic based on 9 reviews is not critical acclaim, not to mention managing to just slide into the top 10 with all of the promotion that album received is not the achievement you think it is.

So I guess the narrative that Camilla stans are sticking with is that Familia didn’t bomb despite having 27k SPS because it was lucky enough to debut in the top 10? This is just sad.

 

this reminded me about the thread that said that familia was more acclaimed than Chromatica but then it fell beneath it on metacritic

I've been told repeatedly by OP that Chromatica was a bomb because it only went #1 with 275K and was a panned with a Grammy win, 79 on MC, and ROM smashing on year-end lists. Idk why something lesser in ever way would be doing better
