I guess I’m trying to be more open-minded since I KNOW every point truly counts. Remi Wolf — Sexy Villain Hmmmm… she’s got a real strong chorus, though I’m not keen on the rest of the song. I’ll take another listen come Tuesday. Demi Lovato — SKIN OF MY TEETH Ehh at this point in the competition someone would have to send Azealia or something for me to consider giving a banned artist/track points - we’re just too far in. BANKS — Trainwreck I like it more than the other entries I’ve heard by her. We’ll see how it holds up, looks like the round’s gonna be real strong (every1 lying again smh). India Shawn f/ Unknown Mortal Orchestra — TOO SWEET It’s pretty cute! - I like the instrumentation & I’ve got no complaints about the feature (at least the vocal appearance portion of it). Spellling — Turning Wheel I have the same feelings for this as I did with the Soccer Mommy entry, but there’s something about her technique that seems a bit more difficult to pull off. YUKIKA — Scent It’s the way I was ready to underscore her but ykw she’s 3/3 for me. This seems to be more Summer-y than the prev. entries too, so that works in your favor for me. I’m already re-checking a few tracks so lemme just throw both of hers in just to be sure. Sidibe f/ Pat Lok — Tellin’ U (Pat Lok Remix) Hmmm interesting discovery seeing this remix version is 1minute shorter than the original. The production is also very-very pleasant - it’s clear you were pretty intentional with this & I like the effort! Michelle Branch — Temporary Feeling Falls into the “cute” category for me as well.
