Our next challenge will be held at 7 PM EDT on Sunday, May 1st. Sorry that I can't do earlier, but I have some family commitments throughout the day. Here is the countdown clock for Round 7. _________________________________________________________________________________________ As we're moving into week 2, we have some twist refreshes.... TWIST #1: TEAM IMMUNITY Team immunity will not be in effect for week two of the competition. That means if someone from your team wins the challenge, all members of the team still must spoon to survive. Coaches, make sure your team knows this! TWIST #2: FRIENDS & FOES The friends and foes twist will not be in effect for week two of the competition. That means there will not be any challenge advantages or disadvantages chosen by the winning team. TWIST #3: POINTS LEADERBOARD The current points leaderboard can be found on the Season 14 Statistics sheet (link here)! This leaderboard will be ongoing all season, and at the end of the season, the team with the most points will win a donation for their charity. The 10 charities will be revealed tonight or tomorrow. Remember, here are the ways you can earn (and lose) points: +25 challenge win +10 immunity earned +10 top 5 (first 4 spoons) +5 top 10 (first 9 spoons) 0 points - everyone else -5 second-to-last spoon -10 last spoon -15 eliminated TWIST #4: COACH IMMUNITY Earlier today, the coaches competed in a multi-part challenge to earn their teams immunity for two rounds this week! Here are the results + dates on which certain teams are immune: May 1 / May 2 - Team Shelven (Round 7 / Round 8) May 3 / May 4 - Team alexanderao (Round 9 / Round 10) May 6 / May 7 - Team rl231 (Round 11 / Round 12) The other teams will compete and spoon like normal throughout the week! (NOTE: May 5th will be an off day because I will be pretty busy all day... for important reasons...) TWIST #5: PRIZE ROULETTE And finally, we come to a twist that I'm very excited about! There are 14 boxes below. Each one contains a different item -- which could be positive, neutral, or negative. After the elimination each round, each coach will select one box in this thread. This choice is first come, first serve. I will then reveal to the team what is inside that box, but the item is not yours yet. Your job as a team is to figure out the entire, correct list of what is inside all 14 boxes. In theory, this could take 14 days.. or perhaps less... Your coach must lock in your list of guesses before the next round begins. After the elimination, the coaches will then pick their next box. After the boxes are selected, I will reveal if any team has gotten the correct list of 14 items. If a team has succeeded at this, then the game of roulette will immediately end. The item in the box that you have chosen that round is what you will end up with permanently in the game. Do you risk trying to find more items on the list, or do you go with one that you already know and really want? The first team to get the correct list of 14 items will also win 100 points on the scoreboard! For winning the Round 6 challenge, Team @Hikari can select two boxes to open. The team that wins each round's challenge will get to select two boxes. Coaches, you may now begin selecting by putting your name next to a Box in the list below. I will not accept a post or DM with just the number.
