Just checked trivia on Charlotte Rampling. She only has one Oscar nomination :rip: I thought she at least has won one :rip: What kind of abomination is this. :deadbanana4:The fact that lesser artists like Emma Stone and Margot Robbie managed to score at least two nominations :deadbanana4:

It was so great to see legendary actresses like Rampling and JJL who have decades worth of acclaimed work finally getting their first noms in 2015 (and they both should have easily won their category because the others were not on the same level save for Blanchett in Carol)

Armageddon Time reviews are something

Critics either LOVED it or HATED it, there's no in-between

Watched Everything Everywhere All At Once. Very very well made, original, quirky. Without a doubt a good film imo. There was too much action/fighting sequences to me but it was still very strong.

Didn't think any of the performances were that groundbreaking. It'd be totally understandable that it gets no nods in acting tbh.

The scenes in the alley that paid homage to Wong Kar Wai's cinema >>>>

Three Thousand Years of Longing got good first reaction, a huge praise towards George Miller, Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba

Elvis will be this year's Bohemian Rhapsody me thinks.

12 minutes standing ovation at Cannes.

Critics tried to tear this down but GP will eat this up and make it a box office success.

Not sure Viola can win Oscar considering her recent panned show for First Lady.

It's too early to tell who will win Best Actress, but hoping for Yeoh to finally get nominated.

Maybe for technical categories and Best Song.

I won't be surprised if it overperformed and got nominated for Best Picture like Ford v Ferrari

It's the Emmy season!

I only watched the new seasons of the drama shows so far and Mandy Moore, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen better win

BP is possible but I won't predict it until wee see how it performs during the season. Though, I could see it doing well at the Globes and potentially a SAG nom for Tom. It could kill in below-the-line noms and Hold My Hand has an obvious path in BOS.
