amy and michelle's first time at the party.

amy trying to follow michelle's (amongst others) current playbook by now chasing an emmy with that walmart netflix show, and then trying to follow that up with an oscar. we'll see if it works.

The Son, Bardo, Empire of Light and The Whale all getting meh reviews/pans is still so hilarious to me because they were all considered big contenders :lmao:

I was rooting for Ana de Armas to be Kristen'd but most critics will rally behind Yeoh. Blonde doesn't sound like the type of movie that the Academy likes either so I don't see her making it, maybe she'll snatch some critics wins / precursors nods if she's lucky.

Brendan Fraser deserves a win :gaycat3:

I don't trust the reviews though, Daddy Aronofsky does no wrong!

Yet another mid film for Jlaw!

sheesh I remember when she would snatch an Oscar nom just by breathing!

Margot truly ended her :dancehall3:

How Margot ended JLaw when she's still Oscarless while Jlaw is not :psyduck:

Is Michelle Williams getting some serious Oscar hype?  :jonny6:

Let her finally win please.

I just hope she doesn't get the Manchester By The Sea treatment. Early frontrunner only to lose in the end because Viola changed her category placement.

Oscar bait at its finest, but we've known that since the beginning. 150 minutes long too, I just know I will be bored :rip:

But it wasn’t.

She better snatch. Wish Jamie could get in supporting but very unlikely.

Got LFF tickets to see Nanny, White Noise, Holy Spider, Close, Triangle of Sadness, and The Whale :fan: feel like I'll regret not seeing Knives Out 2 but I only watched the first one once and didn't care for it probably because it was cam-quality :gaycat6: would've seen Banshees too but it's out a week later here anyway and that'll be cheaper

Oscar winner Legend Michelle Williams. The concept. She should have won for this scene alone :jonny5:

Babylon trailer dropped.

Trailer looks meh, but I'm holding my judgement till the movie drops.

There's no way Robbie will win BA for that role. She looks ok, but did nothing to me in the trailer.

Blanchett will sweep everything :toofunny3:
