Sames. :kitty:

I tried to play with a friend years back, and in the time I had built a pretty mediocre house, he'd made a mansion that was intricately decorated - I just don't think my brain is compatible with such games.

#12 - The Last of Us: Part II (2020) - 175 points

The Last Of Us Part II is a revolutionary experience - and an unbelievably grim tale about grief and regret. I have never been left so emotionally flawed by a video game. The relationship between Ellie and Joel drives the narrative until the end credits. The narrative told between both games comes full circle in Part II’s final conversation. The conversation is bitter, poignant, beautiful, devastating - it leaves you feeling empty, but for all good reasons.

I have never been so succumbed to a game’s narrative, and The Last Of Us Part II provides a completely new perspective on replaying its predecessor. Despite the initial and relentless backlash, I can only imagine reception becoming more accepting. The world Naughty Dog has created is unforgiving and the divisive narrative tells a story with no true winners. It is an emotionally exhausting and searing masterpiece that will stick with you long after.

I don't really think TLOU series is my thing in general, but I do remember the incel fuming that 2 caused when it came out and I did give her a fraudulent 10 on Metacritic to offset the review bombing :bird:

Don't exactly understand the reason that gays specifically love Silent Hill, but then I've never played them so maybe I'm missing something.

Mess at Majora’s Mask and Resident Evil 4 being so low. Y’all a MESS. At least BOTW  and The Last of Us 1 are Top 10, I’m ok with that.

I don't have anything AGAINST The Sims but like... three of them in the top fifteen when we were losing classics like Final Fantasy VII back out the top fifty? Say what you will about Pokemon but at least they were all gone by Top 25.
