I'm stuck on this special research task called "Make a new friend," and it didn't seem to work when I added someone from here myself. So I'm wondering if it needs to be the other way around... My trainer code is 3356 2783 5898 (also on the first page). Thanks!

During this event, I've caught a hundo Pumpkaboo, Panpour, and Gollett, plus a shiny Galarian Yamask from the special research. Also in October (but before the Halloween event), I caught hundo Chinchou and Natu, as well as shiny Xerneas from a raid and rando Swinub, Feebas, and Wailmer. It's been fun!
