Agreed. I'm not scared about some of the mixed reviews. The biggest issue seems to be the script but i don't think it is that bad. Everyone prasing the visuals and Raimi is great.

 

Also i'm a HUGEEEE Wanda stan so i will enjoy it so much anyway. Critics are raving about Lizzy performance.

Yeah, not falling for these "mixed reactions" either. Most of the times it's actually people who are not fond of the MCU or superhero movies in general to begin with.

this seems like a proper popcorn flick, fast paced with a lot of action, and that's what I expect from this. I think the runtime could be the detriment here, people are calling it messy because a lot of stuff is going on and there is no time to breathe.

Usually they start higher and sink - Eternals started in the 70s and sank to high 40s. This will probably be somewhere in the 60-75 range when all is said and done.

Queen Elizabeth deserves nothing but praise and acclaim, I don't care what anyone else says (obviously I haven't seen the movie yet but still she can do literally no wrong in my eyes)

Everyone is praising her tho. He deserves her own movie at this point. She is the MVP of female Marvel.

I know, I know, I just think certain members of the fandom are going to blame her if this film drops in RT score and whatnot. I feel like I've seen so much dislike for the character (not necessarily Elizabeth just the character itself) and I am so protective of her 

 

At the same time I've also seen a lot of love for her specifically in the queer community

Yeah from the reactions that I've read so far, it's giving Eternals but with more praise and it's a bit obvious that Thor 4 is going to be the No Way Home of 2022.

 

But honestly I'm so excited to see this regardless

Watched it tonight. It’s good but no way as amazing as No Way Home. The final act felt a bit clunky
