Favorable draw for Tiafoe, especially if Rune isn't healthy. He won't face Djokovic until the semis and Alcaraz/Sinner/Medvedev until the finals. Defending his semifinal points is certainly doable.

Sinner is the one name Alcaraz didn't want to see in his draw. I know Alcaraz won the title last year, but Sinner was thisclose to beating him in the quarters. If a few points go differently this year, Sinner might just get over the hump and beat Alcaraz this time around.

I think it's over for Venus in singles, but she says she wants to play Cleveland next August. I think Serena may even make a brief comeback next year. (Hey, we didn't think Caroline was going to come back after 3+ years away.) I'd like to see Serena and Venus play doubles next year at the Olympics (or Wimbledon) and the US Open, then call it a day.
