I'm sorry but Morphine cleared that lip sync but then again we find ourselves in that point where we dunno what's more important for Ru: track record or the actual lip sync.

 

Because yeah based off of track record alone Saphira deserved to stay but then if the lip sync was the ultimate decision making challenge, then Q should've lost to Amanda Tori Meeting a long time ago and the same applies to Morphine now.

Which duo of monochromatic gals has been the most repetitive with their palette choices? Nymphia & Lemon VS Ra'jah O'Hara & Lawrence Chaney. And have all of them received the same heat for sticking a bit too much to their "brand"?

Nymphia is the only one who receieved backlash because she's the only one who has repeatedly bleated on and on about bananas and yellow unprovoked, even going so far as to impersonate Jane Goodall just so she could make banana puns during the Snatch Game

 

Lemon, Rajah and Lawrence have barely even acknowledged their signature colour out loud

Even Dawn had to tell her not to make the bathroom design about bananas 

 

And let's not forget about her political statement of voting yellow. Or her previous girl group verse about bananas and yellow. It's not just a runway color, it's something she tries to push into every challenge.

we weren't hearing the purple queens go "eggplant!! xD" or "my name in bulgaria is the blackberry barbie" or "vote purple... burble... turtle... hurdle..." every single episode. laurence and rajah had multiple things going on for them, so it didn't feel like they were hitting us on the head with it. it felt like actual branding, rather than desperately clinging on a quirk. lemon only wore one lemon tree outfit and it was not yellow. she had a "sour" bit but nothing she did got unnecessary praise from anybody for us to get irritated.

one thing i will give nymphia though... when somebody asked her "did it ever think to wear something ELSE?" expecting her to be apologetic and she was like "no, i want yellow" that was cunty and impressive  one of my favorite moments from her

Nymphia is the definition of "you know you that b**** when you cause all this conversation"

 

Like sis didn't win the episode, didn't do bad, did just great, is pretty much doing fine overall in the competition… but she's the most controversial contestant (for dumb reasons imo). She kinda won in that sense. 

 

My take— Nymphia did kind of beat a dead horse by namedropping bananas and yellow, I think otherwise people wouldn't be as critical of it because she truthfully hasn't worn it THAT much. No one really cared about Rajah wearing a lot of purple during AS6, rightfully so, mostly cause she didn't really call it out as much.

 

However, Nymphia could wear yellow every week and I'd be fine with it? She usually has a creative take on the category and she always looks puss so I'm never mad at it. It's just a color and it hasn't taken away from the quality of her runway package imo. It's not a Tinta Burnter situation in that sense. 

 

I'm actually fairly surprised the fans aren't more on Plane's runways if Nymphia is getting lashed cause she has served similar silhouette quite a few times. Again, I think it's because Nymphia calls it out too much which is the real issue. I will never complain about Legend Jane avoiding lashings though

You're right and you should say it  Plane is very lucky we had Q, Dawn and the Bananas to distract us from her assortment of ice skating costumes

Oh no there have been complaints about her wearing the same silhouette online, her partner having little/no makeup, and the win being rigged ...

I don't like Q but she got robbed badly this week, imo she served best family resemblance out of them all >> next in line is Nymphia and then Plane. Sapphira guuurl -  everything were awfully bad, including that lazy same "tricks" lipsync, Morphi murdered her but it was so obvious she's not gonna survive.

Plane’s runway package is a bit of a mixed bag but it’s better than a lot of girls.  Plus, we always do get an idea of who Jane is even in her bad runways.  
 

it’s like Salina, lots of boots, but it makes sense as an entire catalogue.  (Jane has a better package than Salina duh)

Nymphia's branding is fine as long as she stop talking bananas every week, since her drag is excellence already. Can't wait to see what she's packing for the few last eps.

Nymphia is going to have to convince RuPaul and the viewers on the yellow shtick in the last episodes in an eloquent and all-encompassing way. Nymphia presents her love for herself as is through her drag by showcasing the color yellow in its full glory. I think it's special and camp, but clearly people have the need for a proper explanation.

 

Nymphia has shown us different silhouettes and has introduced us to many Asian silhouettes the show hasn't even properly seen before. All she has to do is tie this all together and explain it.

 

For art to succeed, its message needs to be clear to everyone. It's why the queen with a marketing degree is outperforming the queen with one of the best art degrees this show has seen. RuPaul himself was never about being clever, even though he loves to think he is. He's the rick and morty of drag. Nymphia is the bojack horseman. Clock THAT tea
