Lori Lightfoot killed progressivism by running as one and doing absolutely nothing. Didn’t help that the police were against her from the beginning and did everything they could to make sure her tenure would be as crime-ridden as possible, especially after George Floyd.

She was awful In General. She kept union permit jobs shut down during Covid, and she’s gonna be known as the mayor who got the Chicago Bears to leave the city  Johnson is gaining a lot of momentum, but I fear it’s too late

There’s too much momentum on Vallas’s side, and given that parents hate teachers now, any candidate with a CTU endorsement is pretty much dead in the water.
