s it just me or has DDHQ been super click baity lately which kind of gives away their prestige a bit? :rip:ย

ย

Like yes, of course going from a 0.1 lead in MI and WI to like a 0.2 trump lead means she still has a chance in those states :rip:ย

This media narrative of Harris +0.1 = "extremely close race well within the margin of error" but Trump +0.1 = "Trump leads in X state" is easily one of the most annoying poll discussion trends this cycle :deadbanana:ย Like some of these media organizations just need to come out and directly say that they just blindly believe their polls are underestimating Trump because they're scared of another 2016 and 2020.

Are D's really "outperforming" in WI? I haven't seen any analysis on WI really.

I haven't seen anyone look at it in detail either, but the Dems' two biggest counties there (Dane and Milwaukee) both have mail return rates that are... fine, I guess? The state's total return rate is 51.4%. Dane is slightly above that at 52.9% and Milwaukee is slightly below at 48.2%. Wisconsin doesn't report party registration or any demographic data for its mail voters, so it's really hard to say what's going on there.

Just preparing you all: If Kamala loses PA, no matter what, the Dem establishment will start revving up the Shapiro 2028 campaign. It won't make sense, and would be an extremely oversimplified explanation to the complex reasons why she will have lost that ignores Shapiro's own flaws and skeletons. But not picking him is guaranteed to be the Monday morning quarterback argument as to why she lost on CNN/MSNBC, as if a first-term governor with high approvals (because he rebuilt the collapsed I-95 bridge in Philly quickly) is some political Svengali and indeed the second coming of Obama :skull:

The way the Dems will keep pushing the wrong lessons even if they loseย :rip:

Cause she's old and it would be better for her to step down and have Biden replace her than have her die during a potential second Trump admin and have him appoint yet another justice

If Trump wins, she should genuinely do this and Biden should rush to replace her in the lame duck period.

I'm nervous and worried he's going to winย

Question: When IF by some chance, Kamala were to win, what's the likelihood of it actually being sent to the Supreme Court/House?

Not to mention how republicans are going to take the senate this election cycle and could hold up any appointment like they did under the Biden administration.ย

The election only goes to the House if no one gets a majority of the electoral college votes (270). The chances of that happening are close to zero.

ย

SCOTUS would have no reason to get involved, either. This was the goal of 2020... they all thought SCOTUS would step in and do something but SCOTUS can't just step in unless there's a legitimate case that makes its way through the courts.
