These traditional album rollouts won't work. It's not 2011 anymore. Hmm. I'm not sure. Short n Sweet, Brat, Cowboy Carter, Post Malone's new album all had a similar ish timeline who's really doing surprise releases these days outside of Taylor (who is in her own unique marketing possession) im not here for a surprise drop, I think she needs time for the era to build up, get pre orders in, craft the era aesthetically and thematically… although I do like the idea of dropping two leads and seeing what the gp is into

Like releasing an EP of sorts with three songs and then seeing what connects and pushing that song with a music video and then releasing a full album along with the second single which wouldn't have been on the original EP to tease the album if that makes sense. 1

I like this idea !! Bobby / Gaga if you're reading you should do this. Release an EP in a week or two with disease. Especially since we have a long time till February for the full album
truthteller Posted October 27 Posted October 27 even she went to a gay club to perform Perfect Illusion at some point during its debut week 4 1
ViviLittleM Posted October 27 Posted October 27 wondering if they really recorded those die with a smile perf, if so, it's time to release the live on Bruno's channel

But if it's not happening today I don't know when they'd come. They picked this week for the vinyl to ship, would feel smart to do a big push this week but who knows!

A fan favorite Gaga deep cut we've loved for over a decade becoming one of the biggest songs of the year and a pop culture phenomenon a decade later… PERFECT JUSTICE! 4
HeavyMetalAura Posted October 27 Posted October 27 the lashings when Bloody Mary out streams disease later this week will be brutal 2 3
MadMax12 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 This can't end up being her worst performing lead single because of poor management, when it's one of her best. I refuse to accept that.. 4
GraceRandolph Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Something is just not working. Something about modern Gaga songs doesn't work with the GP. Maybe it is the vocal style?
ViviLittleM Posted October 27 Posted October 27 at the end of the day the song already is at 9M on Spotify in two days. let's see if the MV boosts it all!

justin. Posted October 27 Posted October 27 While everyone is melting down, I'm just over here enjoying her second-best lead single. I do think something happened behind-the-scenes the moment the DWAS vinyls were postponed to this week. Not exactly sure what's happened, but things are a little fishy. But I'm confident the music video will be out within the next 48 hours. 3

The GP don't really care about talent anymore. They like minimalistic, bland songs like DWAS, Taylor, Billie etc. Disease is a very complex, layered and aggressive song 1
Abracadabra Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I totally get fans wanting big commercial success, but it sucks that we have gotten to a point in stan culture where it seems like most people can't enjoy an era unless everything is smashing right out of the gate. The numbers for Disease aren't even bad, but what happened to just enjoying the music? It must be depressing af for Gaga to see that after almost twenty years in the industry she's still being held to the standard that she's only as big as her last hit. 9 1
