It's natural for someone who's in the game for more than a decade and a half I guess. Admittedly, I have yet to purchase DWAS, Harlequin, or Disease. I just stream these days.

FIGHT I'm cool with this but they actually gotta freaking push. RELEASE the performance videos, we KNOW they exist! DISCOUNT ON ITUNES! Rush out an alternative vinyl (I'd buy one with them in a new costume) SOMETHING!
GraceRandolph Posted October 27 Posted October 27 2 minutes ago, Konril said: In fairness... This base has realistic expectation for Disease, that this is not GeePee friendly. Most claimed it will not be a #1 hit, just hoping for a Top 10, and a fair amount of longevity. God forbid, someone like AlexStexaul would have debated everyone by now about its commercial prowess. It is GP friendly. It's a pop song with a few industrial elements. It's just not connecting. It's time for Gaga to rethink her entire era strategy and maybe drop a whole album at once or release a couple songs upfront and see what connects because after PI, SL, and now Disease her lead singles are all failing to live up to their potential. 1
thesegayz Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I love how DWAS is about to get Bad Romance'd never change Gar 1
POPTART Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I love the song and no chart position is going to change that. However, can't say I'm not disappointed with the lack of energy from their side. Literally left the song on it's own, not even a MV. Even if they don't wanna go all out for the first week, being completely silent is not a way to do it. Surely they're aware that this can jeopardise the whole performance of the song in the long run.

TheOrangeTree Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Personally, I don't care if it flops. We had a terrible time in 2013/2014. She's got nothing left to prove. I'm only disappointed that her team is treating this comeback as a non-event. We're talking about Lady Gaga, a pop icon returning to her genre after 5 years! Even Gaga's 2011 Christmas ep had more promotion at first. Let's be serious. 8

Enzo Posted October 27 Posted October 27 It's gonna be even worse when they finally drop the MV and it doesn't meet some of her fans' expectations
Denim Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Love yall and LOVE disease but it not GP friendly. its noisy, dark, and maximalist. Thats why I love it; but for all the same reasons its not GP friendly. Its not her LEAST commercial song, it has a good hook and some catchy elements, but its not anything like a ROM, SL, JD, DWAS, so on 1 1

I think the song its not the problem. GP doesn't know the song's existence. Nobody moved a finger to at least try to promote a little. 2 1

HeavyMetalAura Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I also don't care about chart success - at this point, all my faves are Lowkey flops - but even still... damn. not a lower debut than perfect illusion

FIGHT They are really gonna Bad Romance that song 20 points is nothing. Push out some halloween version, release the live performance. Just do something
MadMax12 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 What if that teaser was only to promote the song, and a music video isn't even being filmed. It says 25/10 under the teaser, so if it was a music video it would have been released on the same day. It's a shame, a dark Halloween music video would be her element and elevate the song a lot
ChooseyLover Posted October 27 Posted October 27 It's only been two days, a lot can still happen with the song if that's what she and her team want. Don't let the chart talk ruin your excitement guys I know it's hard being an ATRL user but just try to focus on the music and what is to come. 1

She is energized when other artists' social media teams strategize her team never got past YouTube and twitter records I fear 3
CoolNebraskaGuy Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I'll always be a gar fan but this is so infuriating. Some of my favorite artists are complete flops but at least they stand behind their projects. 1
