Speaking of her net worth, seeing that article mentioning that Justin Bieber sold his catalog for $200M allegedly to pay off "mounting debts" made me wonder if Gaga has any similarly large but hidden-from-the-public debts, which I then had to wonder if maybe that's why she keeps pushing for all these side ventures and sponsorships that appear to be little more than cash grabs at first glance. It would kinda check out logically since music generally doesn't pay as much as it used to. And then you factor in that her dad was in control of her finances for a while (I believe) and as we've seen with other stars, sometimes family managing your money can lead to disaster. We'll probably never know but it does make you wonder. :dancehall:

Personally I feel like that how she has been always careful with her personal life media wise, the same she did with her money, clearly we will never know indeed, a lot also depends from the people who follows her from that point of view, but for example she has never flaunted her money or wealth in a tacky way on social media like other celebrities did, it might not mean anything, but in my opinion she has been careful with her finances if I have to bet my money.

Sponsorships for celebrities are normal at the end, because clearly she still has some expenses and those are easy money, nobody is above them.

Unlike Justin, Gaga comes from extreme wealth and privilege. It's very unlikely that she has debts.

Bieber has had huge wealth and privilege for most of his life at this point. Why would he have more debts than Gaga?

The blind items about Gaga don’t paint a pretty picture tbh, but you gotta take blind items with a grain of salt. I definitely believe she was a bit of a diva from 2011-2015, but she seems to have mellowed a bit since then.

blind items?

Basically industry gossip that gets reported on through insiders and then gets sent to sites like Crazy Days and Nights, LaineyGossip, BlindGossip etc. Pretty sure that’s where I heard Gaga pays for a lot of Joe’s gambling. Some blinds are false, but some have came to fruition or been confirmed.

This is one of her best MV looks idc. The pants, the long gloves, the nude leather bra, the suspenders, the hat, the lavender blonde wig, the dark lipstick, everything was correct :flame:

I love how this video pays homage to Janet and is inspired by MJ's Bad.

The Fame is such a monumental and classic album. Every song on the album, besides Brown Eyes, is a banger. Nearly every song on the album would've made a great single. She really said all killer, no filler.

The 1-2-3-4-5 punch of LoveGame, Paparazzi, Poker Face, Eh Eh and Beautiful Dirty Rich is a moment. The visuals of the era were fantastic, the mystery was there, the live performances were great. Everybody adored her, hated her, or wanted to be her. Everyone and their mother and grandmother knew who Lady Gaga was. It was quite exciting to live through that era.

No wonder people called her the new queen of pop.

Some people in the thread talking about this were theorizing it might be because of people around him taking advantage of him (like Scooter maybe) or maybe he has to pay a ton in fees or something for all the cancelled shows he's had since there's been SO many of them.

Call me delusional but for me The Fame is the best debut pop album of all time.

I remember meeting up with a few ggd members in the NYC area. I didn't get to see her physically since it was packed but I was able to watch the music video premiere through times square. What a moment :jonny5:I always loved this look too. The hair gave me Julie Andrew vibes.

It’s so weird how The Fame feels like a lifetime ago while ARTPOP feels like a few years ago. :rip:

So cool. I watched the GMA livestream on my shitty laptop thousands of miles away but felt the same rush. And yes, I LOVE that hair too. Wish she'd wear it again in an era, even for a single cycle. It's so chic and well-styled.

This is so true. For me The Fame/Monster feels like it was always existed since the beginning of time.

ARTPOP feels like it was released 7 years ago whiie A Star Is Born feels like it was released 2 years ago.
