While everyone bops to Disease, Die With a Smile has FINALLY clicked with me and I now can say that I thoroughly enjoy the song. :suburban:

Maybe the greatest hits tour is what this is hinting at? Like, LG7 will be rolled out next to some sort of greatest hits project that will also be a world tour.

I hope the setlist is spaced out on her hits, I didnt like how chromatica's tour had her three biggest hits at the very start of the show (where she isnt moving.. which the concept and visuals were great but she couldve been standing still doing chromatica songs...... and maybe add plastic doll to chromaticas setlist..)

I would love a choreo only video for this song. She has never done it so it would be something completely different from her.

I'm sorry but she better not do a GH album. None of her albums will ever chart again on BB 200.

I think i might have THE answer as to why Gaga got the top placement on TTH and why some songs do while others don't. It struck me that it's blamed on Payola because if money had been the reason Paris Hilton would've bought herself a #1 on the TTH placement or J.Lo. But they didn't and they couldn't. And don't tell me they wouldn't have liked to. And don't tell me Katy Perry wouldn't have loved to with WW or Lifetimes.

Whenever a song's popularity rate is higher than 70 and reaches the 80+ it is taken into consideration for a TTH #1. Popularity rate doesn't mean how MANY streams you get, it means how LONG the average user spends on listening to your song. It's pretty similar to how it works on TikTok where a viral video is not based on how many likes you get in two hrs but how long a user engages with you aka. if he watches the video in full or re-watches it. So based on that, here are songs that went #1 on TTH and their popularity BEFORE they did:

Beyoncé - Texas Hold Em (77%)

Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather (80%)

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile (80%)

Rosé and Bruno Mars - Apt. (76%)

Lady Gaga - Disease (74%)

And songs that never did and their popularity rate on the day of their premiere:

Katy Perry - Woman's World (51%)

Jennifer Lopez - Can't Get Enough (48%)

Katy Perry - Lifetimes (68%)

Justin Timberlake - Selfish (63%)

It's with whatever song I've checked. And it's the FIRST UPDATE of every song that flopped that had a minus-70 popularity rate but every song that has a plus-70 rate on its very first update (!!) is always the one that gets the most exposure AFTER that update on the service.

Hey, I have been on ATRL for years but I haven't posted in a long ass time but I am still stalking this thread daily.

Just wanted to say it's nice to see her back properly in action, it's been a long time coming!!

Disease hasn't yet clicked for me but I'm excited for what's to come. It's funny to watch all the breakdowns ongoing elsewhere

good watch diving into Gaga singing as a "character" for Disease. A lot of nuances in the choices that she makes

Definitely appreciating the video more :smitten: I was expecting a big budget, classic Gaga storyline video, but it's a nice switch up to do a simpler. I also love how she didn't just try and rehash her old style for sole views, it's undeniably Gaga but also very fresh for her

Zombified will definitely be another Halloween classic for her. If it is indeed a single, I hope it has even more horror references than D music video did. Imagine how ICONIC if she wears Michael's jacket in it.:jonnyknife:

Interflop and Booby are trying to get longevity with disease. First the single release, then the video, TTH placement, probably more engagement, then physicals and merch and whatever. I'd expect it to come next week or the following (maybe when the album pre-order is announced).

If it works out and disease becomes a hit, idk I'll leak a nude or something not that anyone would want to see that:suburban:

I thought of that but i dont believe she would release before inauguration.

Her political ass will be so involved in it :deadbanana2:

And i'm truly surprised she havent said anything about it this year.

Its good tho, i always wanted her to be out of politics.

There's something about that snippet that's giving me huge HIT and I kind of need this to happen.

I'm gonna need some context for the popularity rating before I meltdown :giraffe:

Popularity rating means how LIKED a song is. Not how many times it's streamed. So if 10k users listens to 60 percent of Disease it's better than 100k users listening to 20 percent of Woman's World. So in this case 10k will mean the song is more popular aka. more liked.

And because Disease has good popularity (and after the video dropped it rose 2%) it went higher up on TTH.

What do you think Gaga's next promo move will be? Can we expect a TV performance in November? :-*

I have the feeling the entire album will be full of Halloween classics. She's about to give us her most cohesive body of work :WAP:

Same. Probably because it sounds a bit easier to digest? Her vocals are less grittier than in Disease (at least from what I could hear nnn). It feels similar to what's smashing right now, but still has the Gaga twist (and a few TF vibes?!). I can't ******* wait for this one.
