LOL @ thinking  she's  on a vocal decline :dies:

what the hell would that even be based on?

She doesn’t spam her upper belt like she did during BDay era, that’s all it ever means.

Me defending Beyonce even though she clearly hates us

All I can hope is that when the visuals and tour come there are even minor activations around those things that make them worth the wait. Like I really hope this is all worth it in the end like BEYONCE on Dec. 13.

Yeah she even chose to go in a much lower register when she did Deja Vu at Coachella. I would love a Lost Yo Mind/Ring The Alarm/Green Light screamy track from her. She has her scream moments on Dont Hurt Yourself but otherwise she's avoided that range for a while. Maybe to protect her vocals?

Not the vocal decline discussion again. :lmao:

I still wanna attend the Atlanta or Houston show.

Inb4 my city be one of the most hyped. :rip:

I’m definitely doing Houston now that I’m in Texas. I need to see the energy for the hometown hero. Also ATL and NOLA had amazing energy during FWT, so you can’t go wrong.

I mean,  she’s older and her voice is deeper, it happens to everybody. She can still push to reach the notes but her voice has a darker and heavier quality to it now. She’s got a different sweet spot now but her technique is phenomenal.

I actually appreciate that she’s really shown off her head voice and vocal runs so much more. Partly why I love Virgos Groove so much.

Lemme tell you, When Big Freedia introduced Bey at the start of Formation!!! It was my first time seeing Bey and I was lowkey light headed and needed a seat from just that one song. :penguin:

Halo was my cue to leave the stadium so I wasn’t trapped in NJ trying to get back to NY after the FWT. A perfect closer, but I’ve experienced it enough before. She’ll more than likely never discard it from her setlist.

Nahshshsjsjs in Tampa during Formation you could tell the hive because we all left during the middle of Halo :lmao:

Virgo's Groove is not even the track that stands out the most in terms of vocal production on Renaissance :dies:

Anyhow, the comeback of songs like Listen and Resentment WILL always be gladly accepted if they were to return.

Production wise it's Alien, Pure, Summer and AHAP with that synth outro :jonny4:

I went to FWT in Houston, and based on what I saw online in New Orleans and Atlanta they were even more hyped.

Every women’s voice get heavier and richer as they age. As Opera singers age, they can’t take on certain roles or sing certain songs because it’s not healthy for their voice.

The female voice doesn’t reach peak maturity until the mid 40’s.

yes, some legends didn’t take care of their voices but Beyoncé’s is just getting warmed up!

My family has a perfume brand in the UAE. And it’s the brand that’s everywhere in the Atlantis hotel (the OG one, not this weekend’s) for the guests.. Basically my parents are invited all year long to these kind of events because that’s really common in Dubai. A new spot opens LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE DAY. My brothers and I always decline… because we just don’t care tbh… however they know my love for Bey and I kept on asking them for… I believe a good week now “please check if you were invited to something on these dates please please please” and they played me “no we were not, we heard about nothing, sorry but not this time that’s unfortunate” and yesterday they called me saying I have my flight booked  (I live in Paris) + appartement at the Atlantis Royal and that they were only joking with me when saying they did not hear about nothing.

tried to make it short sorry guys… but I’m so happy… my heart is going very fast I’m not even kidding… and I think my English is a disaster with all that “good stress” I’m feeling now so sorry.

omg have fun!! hive will always find a way! you won’t break our souls giselle! :gayoncecat1:

she’s showcased some of her best vocals in the last few years of her career, she could not properly do a virgo’s groove or a plastic off the sofa back in her dc days or even her early solo career. it’s honestly a testament to her hard work at preserving herself. she’s honed in on her craft and has continually taken care of her instrument. :alexz2:

I love how deep her voice has gotten over the years, it sounds more fuller:smitten: it’s because of her technical skills and maintenance that she has never declined and stayed in such good condition.

While I do think Rolling Stone was wrong for snubbing Celine in their vocalist ranking, Bey is honestly overlooked and underrated as far as her vocal capabilities, she’s had so many highlights throughout the span of her career.

Part of being a smart singer & preserving your instrument for decades is knowing how to tailor your songs (new & old) to whatever stage your voice is in. many of these older singers end up sounding bad b/c they've tried reproducing what their younger voice could do & they couldn't and the result was struggle. i'd rather Beyonce adjust keys & sound good than trying to force herself to sound 20 yrs old again.

the objective is to come off sounding GOOD...not straining & struggling...now you sound damaged & rusty

Y'all concerned about Bey's vocals when she just gave us Jesus off the Sofa and God's Groove :biblionny:

I been wanting to hear her mature vocals since Kobe’s Memorial. That moment and even some parts of Beychella became noticeable how rich her vocals are now.

When she goes on tour, I don’t know if I should go to the show in Houston, Atlanta, or New Orleans. I have a feeling she might do something special for Houston. Maybe she will do a surprise Savage Remix performance with Megan.

She usually never does from what I experienced the past 4 times. She tells us how much she misses us, the food, etc. but there's usually never like a surprise appearance by an A-lister besides having Houston rappers like Bun B open the show with DJ Khaled. :rip:

She always seem to give surprises at the NY-NJ or LA shows. Maybe I should stick with staying here.

:chick3: That’s tragic.

Idk. With everything Megan had to endure regarding the Tory case, I had a thought that maybe Bey will show Megan love by bringing her out in Houston. Bey & Jay really like Megan.

That is true. I normally always go to the NJ or Philly shows. I went to the last FWT show, which was in NJ, and gagged when I saw her perform 6 Inch.
