But it was stupid picking Church Girl. And a lot of the way they are handling things is dumb and slow. No one is switching on her. We are all still here, aren’t we.

It was dumb picking church girl as the single when cuff it was taking off on it’s own but if she went ahead with it it would have been better than no second single at all. She’s 25 years into the game like I’m just happy she’s still going at this point bc everything is love and the gift we’re giving I’m focusing on my man and my kids.

tbh i still want church girl as a single at some point, maybe after heated right before the tour :duca: alien superstar too it needs to a proper push it really grew on me

If there was gonna be a dual single at any point this era, Alien Superstar/Church Girl fit the bill perfectly, after Cuff It has had its moment.

Alien Superstar and Heated ft Drake* :lakitu:

The tour dates themselves aren’t pushed back (?) so why push the announcement back?

Maybe cause of visuals getting pushed back?

Well it is. There was no way to know it would go viral. It’s not a forced hit.

My point stands. Some of y’all tried to come for AS when it was the love for the song that had it slaying/viral.  Luckily Cuff it was saved by the dance.

If J. Lo's SB behind the scenes documentary (which got her dragged from here to Timbuktu when the Shakira commentary went viral) made Top 10 on Netflix then I don't see why Beyoncé's wouldn't.

I'm never surprised though, you never know. In my part of the world Beyoncé is a huge deal. On the other hand my 20 year old brother and his friends (straight guys mostly between 19-21) probably don't even know she has an album out.

Up until last week he thought No One by A. Keys, was a Beyoncé song.

Alien Superstar was the most instant song from the album, but as the weeks have passed by it’s gone from being in my top 3, to top 5, to probably now scraping top 10. Nothing against it, but it just proves how strong the rest of the album is.

Yall think it’s bad now, just wait for the next few weeks when it’s all about that Taylor chick and the rest of the industry goes quiet.

Like hello, Tay is about to takeover the charts in like 2 weeks and all through the holiday season.

Rihanna WILL drop R9 and own the Spring/Summer likely.

At least we haven’t done our monthly album ranking.

So is everyone finally at the consensus that Parkwood is messy and is the reason why this era is the way it is. Something the complainers have been complaining about since the blank pfp promeaux began?

As they should since they’ll actually promote their stuff and give fans actual content to enjoy the era.

Does it matter? Not like we were getting anything anyway.

Gonna enjoy Cuff It success while it lasts.

The success of cuff it proves that promo(dance) and access makes an era than just simply “listen to the music”. The world enjoying your song creates the lasting impression, not just the Stan’s listening to an album 383838 times that she milks every last dollar out of.

Art hive stay losing. Whoever said a few weeks back that she needs to decide whether she wants to actually be a sade or not because all this “shopping around for the highest bidder” nonsense isn’t giving ARTISTE.

I said what I said.

Be serious what artist credits every single person for every little thing? Or even for their album covers? Like you just mad at bey for the visuals taking a long time and you’re lashing out :celestial2:

beyonce is not everybody. when your brand is that big, you can't make mistakes. because then things like this happen.

Right I don’t understand the fans in here thinking the success was organic considering cuff it was paid dust until the dance.

that random dance going viral and boosting the song is literally the definition of organic

Beyoncé has always had to share space with these artists and has done well alongside them, they are not gonna stop her from also doing well :celestial5: y’all keep freaking out over nothing

Remember when you were watching the beginning of Lemonade on HBO and thought Bey was about to drop a divorce album?

My point was it brought attention to the song that play listing and early radio spins didn’t previously.

One thing I’ve noticed about Taylor is that her team watches Beyoncé and what she does. They then turn around and do it better in terms of promo. I will not elaborate.
