She already tried the ballad route with Somos Nada and it did... well... nada.  She even performed at the Latin Grammy's.

You can't compare the amazing Pero me acuerdo de ti to No somos nada.

5k worldwide? You mean she doesn’t even have 5k Stans?

she had the Peoples Choice Awards, Latin BBMAs, 3 videos, 3 singles 2 of which featured 4 Latin music stars.

Im in shock. @D.M.F can you please explain this. Surely you know how to turn this into something positive

Biggest female artist of 2000????

but did you think no one was going to discuss the album failing to chart. People are not even being that mean in comparison if it had been others. This would be 10 pages long.

Didn’t she win billboard female artist of the year in 2000?

anyways I don’t see ppl making threads about JHuds chart placements or Leona Lewis’s or whoever but yet we also see someone with a Mariah or Britney avi making Xtina ones like these…why is that?
If y’all are truly just here for analyzing charts, are you saying Xtina’s chart placement is more relevant than say Kim petras or Tove Lo for example?

Are you saying Xtina in 2022 is on the same level as Kim Petras, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson and Tove Lo? :lakitu: Interesting.

Not you using the In the Zone DVD/bonus CD, Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, a CD only sold with the accompanying DVDs, and a remix album sampler as “Britney released 3 EPs and only one charted”  :bibliahh: Give it up ma. Xtina bombed.

So did Britney's 3 EP's, no matter what they are, they are EP's.  Just like La Fuerza. And they bombed when she was in her prime, embarrassing if you ask me. :clown:

They weren't available to buy separately.... :toofunny3: You had to buy the damn DVDs and the remix sampler was promo only. But speaking of EPs..

Not this limited edition EP from 2020 charting (and outselling) Xtina :bibliahh:

The first two were bundled to video album (which was a #1 and 2X Platinum) and a TV show DVD so ineligible to chart by themselves. The third was a limited release of a remix album sent to DJs only (not retail). The parent album did chart.

Stay on topic also please.

The bar is in hell if you’re comparing La Fuerza to releases that were ineligible to chart.

Spanish EP's rarely chart. That's what you don't understand. Even Maluma's EP didn't chart and he's huge in Spanish music.

You say this like American artists release Spanish EPs every day:rip: even an artist like Kali Uchis managed to make her Spanish album chart

:ahh:To think this is the fandom that constantly attacks and makes fun of music legends Mariah Carey (decades old REJECTS album peaked at #31) and Britney Spears (limited vinyl pressing of a 20 year old album made it chart in 2020) :bibliahh:
