Taylor released an album and she was the only one that debuted at #1 for a week. And of course Mariah during Christmas. The competition has been there, but it wasn't strong enough i didn't say nobody released music. it's just nobody released a big hit. there's usually at least several hits competing for the top spot at any given time on BB. the only song competing with EOM is Stay which went #1 in July. EOM is doing amazing and a smash hit, no one is denying that. But it wouldn't have ranked this many weeks at #1 during pretty much any other time.
