Adele - 30 Sells 59K Vinyl in the US | 293k Overall

Featured Replies

Adele sold a whopping 59k vinyl on the date ending December 23rd. Making it the third biggest vinyl selling week since Nielsen started counting.
This comes after OAH claimed that nobody would buy the vinyl after debut week and they would and quote “collect dust on shop floors”… Have they been been proven wrong yet again?
*this is without discounts, autographed copies or desperate tweets

The way she keeps ending the OAHs! Not them conveniently avoiding this thread :oh:

OP needs to post an asterisk (*)

OAHs need to know that this is without SIGNED COPIES, MULTIPLE VERSIONS, etc.

I clowned myself because I really thought that Columbia miscalculated pressing 500k vinyls. Never doubt Adele’s power

Imagine if the label ONLY printed enough for first week sales, then they wouldn't have vinyls to sell throughout the holiday season and would be standing shivering-cold at the back of the line at vinyl factories!!!

Her team did what they had to do to secure holiday sales

and it appears they HAVE to press more copies IMMEDIATELY cause of demand! :jonny5:

This is kinda funny considering it’s the US :oh:

Even more impressive that Adele did it in just 5 weeks :deadbanana2:

They already knew the DEMAND was going to be HUGE. It's Adele after all, the MUSIC INDUSTRY.

They planned it.. :clap3:

They don't want to be out of stock in the middle of 30's peak.

Wow so it’s sold past the 250k shipped to the US?

We don't know if they shipped only 250k to the US. There are no available numbers of that.

Tho it's irrelevant because they can just ship them back from country to country via Amazon depending on the demand.

I guess Adele's label knows better than ATRL's vinyl police

Collecting dust they said
