Too much slay on your song list to comment on, most people covered it for me.

Jazmine deserved to be pushed above HM and Jorja should have been eradicated from the list entirely

Doss and Yves, yes baby  I'll check out some of these other EPs!

111. Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg

Solid post-punk with an intriguing deadpan spoken word delivery and bizarre lyrics

110. death's dynamic shroud.wmv - Faith in Persona

Great album based around sampling mainstream pop songs by the likes of Dua, Ariana and Olivia in an endearing way

109. Índio da Cuíca - Malandro 5 Estrelas

Beautiful samba album which borders on an annoying usage of cuíca but with plenty of gorgeous moments

108. Justine Skye - Space and Time

Really fun and solid R&B album with multiple highlights and a lot of potential showcased

107. Flying Lotus - Yasuke

His last album was a bit of a dud but I dig the atmosphere this one creates

106. Jaubi - Nafs at Peace

Meditative jazz fusion album, helped me sleep a few times

105. Makthaverskan - För Allting

a great and melodic combination of dream pop with post-punk, surely with more spent time could be higher

104. home is where - I Became Birds

I am rooting for anything emo

103. SpiritBox - Eternal Blue

The things this woman can do with her voice is amazing and I love what this brings to the alt-metal scene

102. Helado Negro - Far In

Not as gravitating as his previous album but I still think this is beautiful and has its moments

101. Patrick Belaga - Blutt

A surprising and intriguing record that mashes modern classical with experimental and electronic soundscapes

Eternal HomeGlow OnSecond LineSmiling With No TeethI Lie Here Buried With My Rings and My Dresses

Pictures of Your PetsThe House Is BurningVaniceLealani SnakefootCollapsed in Sunbeams

100. FIRE-TOOLZ - Eternal Home

This album is quite insane, dipping from any polar genre it can think of, making it never boring and always creative

99. Turnstile - Glow On

Super solid collection of rock songs that range but still with an edge to them, like the Blood Orange features

98. Dawn Richard - Second Line

An early favorite during the year, Dawn delivers a solid and boppable record that has plenty to say

97. Genesis Owusu - Smiling with No Teeth

Eclectic and formed debut album, can see great things for it and them

96. BACKxWASH - I LIE HERE BURIED WITH MY RINGS AND MY DRESSES

This is brutal and I love this girl

95. Newgrounds Death Rugby - Pictures of Your Pets

Late emo entry and I enjoyed this a lot, it's very cute and emotive at the same time

94. Isaiah Rashad - The House is Burning

Great LP from miss Rashad, not as fantastic as his previous two but still delivers with the bangers

93. Cookiee Kawaii - Vanice

This is just a smash after smash to vogue to. and the gay porn Spotify canvas is already iconic. sorry queen.

92. Lealani & SnakeFoot - Lealani SnakeFoot

Super unique album which I'm not even sure how to pin down. Her voice is a bit grating sometimes but I hear the Björkiness of it

91. Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams

One of the early big albums of the year and it was well deserved. Didn't have much longevity for me but she snapped

You can indeed find lots of gems on rym. I check it very often too.

I'm currently checking truth in habitual. Sounds very lo-fi. Reminds me of the dreampop/shoegaze albums from early 10s bandcamp.

This EP is my favorite off your list so far.

it's very bedroom indeed! I like it. glad you checked it out

I need her to blow up soon. Hopefully with her debut :jonny:

Also yes to Jackie :clap3:

Excited for her debut whenever it will be, she's very talented and capable of delivering a great one

Gonna ignore the Jorja statement x

Hope you will like LSDXOXO, if you like slut-ballroom-whore-house you'll enjoy.

Tinashe collecting constant #2s  :celestial: Another top 5 for erika too.

Heard a lot about Indigo through peers but haven't really dived into her yet. She's on the queue. Gr8 list all together from the ones i'm familiar with.

Bouncin / Kill Me basically have a co-#1 spot for my soty, they're just too different

Hope you'll like her I know you're not a huge fan of more recent indie rock but I think she's way above that and gives something special

Born Yesterday is the best song of all time. and I'm just gonna start off by saying like, if you get it you get it, if you don't you don't, if you know you know and if you don't know like i honestly feel bad for you like i cannot explain it i don't have the vocabulary to sit here and explain like you get the vibe or you don't get the vibe

ddd i like born yesterday just wasn't expecting it to be your top pick from her

Liked some Alina output a bit, but nothing striking yet.

Arlo Parks very talented and I'm sure it's just the beginning of more good stuff from her  :allears:

Some cute albums but nothing hitting so hard so far (which makes sense since you're barely in the 90s).

FlyLo and Helado Negro were alright, Isaiah and Genesis were solid but I rarely went back to them for some reason. Didn't care for the Dawn Richard album and Arlo didn't hit for me like I wanted it to :katie:

hmu with some recommendations

From that batch I'd say:

Ka - A Martyr's Reward (you're in your hip hop era)
溶けない名前 - タイムマシンが壊れる前に (we stan shoegaze)
Slant - 1집 (it's like 15 mins punk so it's a fun listen)
Lucid Express - Lucid Express (we stan shoegaze harder)
SUMIN & slom - MINISERIES (fun lil bops)
IOSONOUNCANE - IRA (if you're in the mood for a rly dark industrial serve)
Bruno Pernadas - Private Reasons (this one in particular I recommend you and also their 2016 album. both are really good and I see you enjoying them)
