Julien Baker - her best album, but didn't really go back to it Bachelor - okay... but pretty boring nnn Arlo Parks - honestly overrated imo from critical acclaim and wins from stuff like Brits! Rostam - was hoping for more but it had some good songs Kacey - YAAAAS no Golden Hour of course but still good Lucy Dacus - pretty good! I kinda stick in my little bubble I'm afraid. ? star-crossed seems to be a bit mixed for most people, but it's my personal favorite Kacey album. I'd probably have it near the 80s myself I wish I liked Troubled Paradise more. As it stands, it's kinda just there for me. I adore Letters, at least, and Throatzillaaa is a certified classic. She made two points! Mercurial World was my first Magdalena Bay album. Quite solid, if not a bit samey, though Mercurial World (song) stuck out to me a lot. That chorus alone was mesmerizing to me. I like star-crossed, even though it's easily a step down from Golden Hour. || Faye's album was alright, felt very samey and similar to AMC. KOL's album had some good moments Mercurial World was excellent, wish it was higher! So glad I got into them last year when their music started getting extra great.
