A gem. My favorite single from Beyonce. This is everything that a crossover mainstream ballad is supposed to represent. It had the 2000s sound but with classic timeless lyrics and her vocal deliveries are majestic. While 'Beautiful' might technically be the best vocal female ballad of the 2000s. HALO transcends. If you are not in love when hearing this...you WANT to be in love just so you can relate. I wish she gave us maybe 1 or 2 more of these. Now the thing is i'm not fond of the video she's had better videos for ballads but this song always puts a tingle in my heart.
