PRISM stats:

8.3 billion YouTube views/1500 = 5.5 million units

+2.3 billion Spotify streams/1500 = 1.5 million units

+27.4 million single sales/10 = 2.7 million units

+4.2 million album sales

+~1 billion streams from other streaming services

=14.7 million adjusted album units at the very least.

 

However, I don't agree with the formula they used. I would have divided the YouTube views by 3750, which is what Billboard does. It would be around 11 million units if they discounted the YouTube views. Especially since half of her YouTube views during late 2016/early 2017 were fraudulent/payolaed by her label.

Are you really dragging her for being like the 7th biggest female artist of the past two decades? She's #61 on the billboard greatest artists of all time and it'll take decades for her to get pushed off the list. That's really not something to be ashamed about.

 

And Gaga is not a "big girl" anymore, judging by Chromatica's chart performance. Taylor, Rihanna and Beyonce are what we refer to as the "big girls", as they had at least  decade of consistent success and longevity.

Gaga’s sold 100M more units than her WW, as well as the other girls I mentioned, who are now a league above Katy. No shame in that, it’s just a fact. And for Gaga, if selling 280M units WW isn’t enough to be a “big pop girl” then you’re just delusional. Your bias against Gaga won’t change her status
