Single sales didn’t become relevant until the digital era  

 

Just say Gaga has only brief periods of success and go. If she was truly a legend she wouldn’t have to depend on “timing.”

No, you didn’t. I didn’t say digital sales - I said all single sales were virtually irrelevant until the digital era. Hence why classics from the 80s-90s are only 1-2x platinum. Gaga’s front loaded songs having sold more than a few songs from the 90s means nothing.
