This is the highest certified single ever in the US (tied with OTR)

I literally don't know a better song. So happy GP ate this, one of the best of all-time for sure.

While the credits on Spotify show Gotye as the sole writer, the official records on APRA AMCOS show that Luiz Bonfa has been credited too, so his family might also be doing quite well from this song.

Has anyone thought about writing Mark Ronson's fan website asking him to update Uptown Funk? Thats what really holds the record, 1.6XD+.

This so far is the only song to finish #1 on Radio, Sales & Streaming in the same chart year, 2012 here. Call Me Maybe finished 1st on Hot Singles Sales, which is the only chart Gotye didnt chart. Uptown Funk finished #1 Radio, #1 Sales & #1 ODS in 2015, but See You Again forced UF to #2 on the overall streaming year end chart.

The chorus still hit so hard
