It’s currently outstreaming Shape of You by around 1.7 M per day. If it keeps this pace it will overtake in around a year. I’m sure it will slow down though but I do think it will get there eventually.

Blinding Lights is more global I think? Combined versions aren’t counted if I’m pretty sure. I’d have to check how much OTR’s been streamed with both versions combined on Spotify.

Shape of You felt massive in virtually every major music market like @getinthezone said. It has good recurrent streams too.

Yeah BL is definitely more global but I still would have expected OTR to rank higher since it's only #85 according to Wikipedia (only remix)  I was mostly curious 'cause I currently can't check on Spotify's desktop version and I can't find data for the non-remix

These numbers aren't right tho. Pretty sure Despacito + Despacito remix has around 2.5B streams
