It's not the "same" album. The whole point of her re recording these albums was so they would not be associated with the originals. This is NOT a re release. 

Also they are on two different labels so it is not remotely logical to combine them. IT is just stupid, incorrect and illogical.

It's still the same melodies, with the same lyrics. It has updated vocals but to anyone else, it's just the same album and that's exactly the reason it won't have a longevity like a standard album. It seems logical to me.

In Germany the distributor/local label is the same that's why they combined it.

Seeing as Germany and I think Greece are the only two countries in the world which combined it, it is not logical. Every other country in the world has rightfully treated it as a NEW entry. IT is not just a re release of an old album. its new.

Albums with more than 50% of the same content are combined, regardless of which label they were released on. This also applies to remix albums and alternate versions. "The Remix" by Lady Gaga for example did not chart in Germany, all of its sales were attributed to "The Fame" because the tracklist was all TF(M) remixes.

It's not because other countries do it differently that they are right. Switzerland also counts it as a re-entry. Probably Austria too.
