I didn’t realize that 267 points could get you a #1 right now :deadbanana: streaming really has thinned out music consumption at the very top and spread it out (which is not a bad thing at all)

Put Your Records On's points being 74% from airplay tho :skull: that's double digits more than any other song on the chart percentage-wise, pop radio better stan.

i need Up to pull through

also the fact Streets has remained relatively stable with almost no airplay whew

You correct about consumption being 'spread it out". Before streaming, label would payola the radios with the same 10 artists, so consumers bought music from those same 10 artists. But now with streaming, we have so many more options and can listen to whatever we want, the sales aren't so concentrated within such a small group of artists.

OT: Justin is winning and people hate to see it. Peaches has been extremely stable on Spotify for the past week, so it will have longevity. And Ariana winning too. Also Drakes songs are falling off quicker than I expected.

The fact that Levitating would probably be #1 if it had BMH radio numbers.

A great achievement, yes.

I hate that ****ing song so much. Who wants radio to play it, why do they insist on it?

I told y’all Drake was frontloaded and Jusint will be too.

Wasn’t everyone calling Justin a flop couple weeks ago cause of Hold On? Ahh, truly the male version of ‘somehow she always stays here’

I don't think Justin's will be frontloaded. Peaches' streams are currently higher than they were during its first day and has been extremely stable too. Drake had a huge first day, but soon after that, there was a 50% decline in like a week. But who knows, anything could happen.

ahh he stays winning

& those fandoms HATE to see it and stay being obsessed with him

IKR, such an awful and bad cover. I mean, I don't deny there are people who like the song. In general, it's being well received by radio audience, but Pop support on it makes no sense. :rip:

Yeah we will see, the only good thing about this is Giveon and Daniel Caesar getting recognition.

Leave the Door Open will go #1 the week after Peaches. Peaches will lose a ton of streams in it's second week but Leave the Door Open is gaining very quickly on radio. It'll go #1 next.

A 4th single that underperformed in the streaming era? Colour me surprised! It’ll float about in the bottom end of the chart as they seem to be pushing it alongside Peaches

According to those projections, What's Next will have more streams than 7 other songs in the top 10. What's Next was the #1 streamed song for 2 straight weeks and would have only dropped to #2 on the streaming songs chart if Peaches didn't drop last week.

It's dropping that fast because it doesn't have enough points coming from radio yet. It's projected to have 19% of it's chart points from radio at the end of the week. Other songs in the top 10 (minus Peaches) have more points coming from radio.

It will spend time in the top 10 regardless and this isn't a single off his album so it's all good.
