I've noticed both of her GH albums consistently re-chart every now and then in the UK but they never re-chart in the US. Is SPS different in UK?

You have to remember the US listen to more genres than the UK does. The UK charts are basically pop charts whereas the US see pop, rock, country and urban music succeed. I'm sure if there was a Billboard 200 Pop Albums chart, then she would always be charting with her greatest hits.
