AM & Spotify synchronising for 1st time ever. Same US Top 3.

1. Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's License

2. SZA - Good Days

3. Doja Cat - Streets

For the longest time AM and Spotify always had a very different charting at the top, but all it took was 3 females to make it happen.

It's the first time ever that 3 different artist are occupying the same top 3 position both on AM and Spotify. :clap3:

Ps: and yes both platform synchronized many times in the past but it was always the same artist during an album's release week which is boring and front-loaded.

I'm not sure if it's the first time

Drake probably had the same songs in the top 5 of both spotify and apple during his album bombs. The same goes to Post Malone or Taylor Swift

For example, Taylor Swift during Folklore release day:

US Spotify:

TRACK    STREAMS
    1
the 1 by Taylor Swift    4,175,284
    2
cardigan by Taylor Swift    3,937,822
    3
exile (feat. Bon Iver) by Taylor Swift    3,829,002
    4
the last great american dynasty by Taylor Swift    3,348,161
    5
my tears ricochet by Taylor Swift    3,202,928

https://spotifycharts.com/regional/us/daily/2020-07-24

Apple Music

US:

1. the 1 [e]

2. cardigan

3. exile (feat. Bon Iver)

4. the last great american dynasty [e]

5. my tears ricochet

I did specify that in the OP. I'm excluding album release week from big artists because it's easy for them to synchronise during event release.

This top 3 is literally organic :rip: DL and Streets blew up from tik tok, Good Days grew naturally because the public saw that’s it a good song. And in Streets’ case, the label is literally ignoring it
