Females with most Top 10 hits on the All time Top 5000 list

Some artists can get a lot of top 10 hits these days thanks to album bombs and frontloaded sales/streams

But how many of them had enough longevity to rank in the top 5000 Hot 100 songs of all time list?

This list uses the same formula that Billboard uses for their all time charts and it's updated until the week of December 26th of 2020.

For this thread I only considered female artists with at least 10 top 10 hits on the all time list.

But Die Another Day was an actual radio hit while Hung Up was done dirty by radio. I’m pretty sure that if Die Another Day had been released in the digital era like Hang Up it would’ve gone at least top 5

I’m surprised that (You Drive Me) Crazy didn’t make it. Its chart run is pretty similar to Toxic and Oops and they made it. I’m surprised that Gimme More made it lol

However...

”Die Another Day” was Madonna’s first single post the “Music” era which was very successful in the U.S thus Pop radio was much more receptive towards it and embraced it.

”Hung Up” was Madonna’s first single post the “American Life” era whereby every single completely BOMBED on Pop radio.

More often that not, when an artist heavily underperforms with a preceding era on radio, big stations are usually hesitant to play said artists new singles as quickly (unless they have a radio deal and even then the magic wears off after the first week). “HU” had a very slow start on Pop radio and was mostly played by smaller stations before Z100/KISS/B96 etc. got on board and even then airplay was minimal.

Thankfully, “4 Minutes” did much better.
